We were shocked March 2nd with the sudden death of our close friend of 45 years, Tim Hudlicky, he was only 46. Perhaps a lot of you remember our long time close friends and ex neghbors, Joe and JoAnne Hudlicky from Vancouver, Washington. Joe pastaway 2 years ago in April and JoAnne in 1990. Tim was always one of the good kids growing up and stayed that way.
Tim and his wife of 13 years, Wendy, were both deputies with the Clark County Sheriff in Vancouver, Washington. Tim's pride and joy Shane is just 3 and a near image of him at that age. We attended his memorial service last Thursday at noon and were very impressed by the huge turnout. Officers and their dogs lined both sides of the driveway to the church as that was what Tim did. He had a dog that found drugs for the drug Taskforce.
The front page story was in the paper the next day and I have scanned it in three pages.March 15, I just scanned the paid memorial obituary that was in the March 7th Columbian. That will be page four.
This is the article from The Columbian newspaper from Vancouver, Washington of March 9, 2001. I scaned these on my scanner so it's not good quality and they may take a while to load, sorry about that. I did three scans and in order to read them I set them up as 800X600 so I put them each on a separate page.
